Bashton

Looking for an active, large-breed fellow to add to your family?! Bashton is one of the most playful pooches in the building, and would love running about in your fenced yard with you! He’s an energetic guy who would benefit from obedience training. Bashton came to the shelter, through an investigation, with some medical concerns. He has been medically cleared, but still requires some socialization. We’re not exactly sure what he’s endured in his lifetime, but he’s not the type of guy who enjoys bear hugs or paw touches, which is why we think he would prefer to live with children over the age of 12 years old and requires an experienced owner. He can be selective about his canine pals, so we think he would prefer to be the only pet in a suburban or country home. Because of this, we feel that he wouldn’t do well in an apartment and wouldn’t enjoy a dog park. We think he would be happiest with a family all to himself. Sweet Bashton can be a little wary of strangers sometimes. It’s important that he meets people in a calm, slow manner. Once he gets to know them, though, he is the most loving, playful pooch! Are you ready to add a bundle of fun and laughs to your family? If so, drop by the shelter to meet Bashton!
