An Ontario-based father-daughter rowing team has arrived on solid land in Antigua after spending three months crossing the Atlantic!

John and Libby Beeden, who are 56 and 20 respectively, rowed their small boat from Portugal to the Caribbean island over the course of 91 days.

John Beeden was already an experienced rower when the pair set out on the voyage; his daughter, not so much.

Libby Beeden says she was terrified at times — like when the waves were six meters high and crashing into their boat.

The duo say that at this point, they don’t have any other rowing trips planned because they need some time to decompress.

Can you imagine?! For me, going to a festival, or a movie, is fun, with my daughter(s)…..maybe one day, we’ll row across an OCEAN…? (Probably not!) lol
