FEBRUARY 19: Teddy Bear Hospital Family Day Program

Discover one of the Museum of Health Care’s most beloved programs this Family Day. Bring your teddy bear or other special stuffed animal to the Museum of Health Care where trained “teddy doctors and nurses” will be on hand to examine and treat your toy’s bumps, lumps, and bruises. Learn, laugh, and find out why doctors and hospitals aren’t so scary after all! The event will include a special story time, tasty snacks provided by Card’s Bakery, and a hands-on craft activity. Suitable for ages 3-8, with adult accompaniment.

Two sessions available: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm OR 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Cost: $5/child (no charge for adults)
Pre-registration required: Please call (613) 548-2419, email, or book online at  More information can be found on our website:

10 AM – 12 PM & 5 PM – 7 PM

During Warehouse Wednesdays, the Kingston Symphony’s Volunteer Committee will be accepting donations for all of their sales including the Vinyl Records Sale, the Fall Book Fair, the Spring/Summer Nearly New Sale, and All Things Christmas!
From all genres and types of vinyl records to fiction and non-fiction books, from clothing and knick-knacks to Christmas Sweaters and ornaments; we want what you’ve got. So clear out those garages, go through that old box of books in your basement, pack up those clothes you never wear, and put your clutter to good use!
*Please be kind! We cannot sell soiled or damaged clothing, etc. & must pay to dispose of it. Please hold all fall & winter clothing & sports gear until June 2018.

All items donated will be sold at various fundraising events of the Volunteer Committee of the Kingston Symphony Association in support of the Kingston Symphony and music education initiatives.
