July 13 – 14: Paint the Summer Art Show and Sale

The Rideau Lakes Artists’ Association (RLAA) presents its 3rd Annual art show & sale, Paint the Summer, at Algonquin College, 7 Craig Street in Perth, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. Building on the success of last year’s show, more than 40 talented artists will be displaying their works in oils, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media and batik. Come out, meet the artists, discuss their ideas and inspirations, and maybe take home a masterpiece to enjoy or give as a truly original gift! Once again Paint the Summer is proud to support Interval House of Lanark County. Back by popular demand is the People’s Choice Award, where visitors can vote for their favourite artwork from a collection themed, Celebrate the Summer. And new this year is an exhibition of student art from local schools – RLAA is pleased to nurture and support young emerging artists. Algonquin College provides a wonderful venue for this show and sale and plenty of parking and admission is free as always!
