Details

You are invited to celebrate Kingston-area science & scientists by being in the audience when the The Leon’s Centre becomes a giant pop up Science Discovery Centre!

Meet and talk to scientists, engage in scientific experiments and learn about the excitement and possibilities of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

This event is free and family-oriented. There is something for everyone!

Students also have the opportunity to get on stage with a real-life astronaut! This is a new feature at Science Rendezvous Kingston to celebrate the appearance by NASA Astronaut, former Commander of the International Space Station, and Queen’s alumnus, Drew Feustel.

The first 2000 families will receive a Take-Home booklet filled with experiments that can be done at the kitchen sink, on the kitchen table or in the backyard as well as a free tote bag…some of which will contain additional prizes such as gift certificates, passes to local museums, merchandise and much more!
