Not Guilty

A Kingston Police officer who was charged with threatening a man while off duty has been found not guilty.  43 year old Andrew Wilby had been charged by Frontenac OPP after a complaint from a contractor hired by Wilby to do renovations on his home.  Wilby wasn’t satisfied with the work and fired the contractor who then went to police with his complaint.

The judge found there was no evidence to support the charge.
