Country star Maren Morris showed support for Beyoncé ahead of the release of her album “Cowboy Carter.”

Beyoncé shared a post on Instagram announcing the album, which Morris supported as a sign of unity.

Beyoncé shared that her reception at the 2016 CMAs was a cold one. She said the new album “was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t.” Alan Jackson had infamously walked out during her performance with The Chicks. Beyoncé’s album is set to be released on March 29, and she aims to break down racial barriers in genre categorization.

Beyoncé clarified that “Cowboy Carter isn’t a country album; it’s a Beyoncé album.” Morris, who is a big supporter of Beyoncé, commented on the post, “Drag them queen.”
